Privacy Policy.
castparrot is built by a single maker. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and which third parties touch it. We aim to be honest, not lawyerly.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, display name, and Google account ID. When you upload an episode we store the audio/video file and the outputs we generate from it (transcripts, show notes, chapters, clips, social posts). We log the events of each pipeline run for debugging.
Why we collect it
To deliver the service: authenticate you, store your work, generate outputs, and let you download them. We do not sell your data. We do not use your audio to train models. We do not run advertising.
Where it goes
These are every third-party processor we currently use. Each receives only the minimum data needed for its role:

We will update this table before adding a new processor.
Retention
Uploaded audio and generated outputs are retained until you delete the episode or close your account. On deletion we remove them from our storage within thirty days. Request logs are retained for sixty days for debugging.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@castparrot.comand we’ll act within thirty days.
Cookies
We use one HttpOnly cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising cookies.
Children
castparrot is not intended for users under 13. If we learn that a child has signed up we will close the account and delete the data.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced via the email associated with your account.
